Brooks
Brooks, affectionately known among the Dapper Deer Society as “The Continental Gentleman,” is a vision of rare craftsmanship and worldly flair. His massive antlers are draped in the iconic stripes of a Hudson Bay Blanket, their felted texture adding warmth to his towering presence. His head turns slightly to the right, as if surveying a distant horizon, lending him an air of quiet authority. He wears an ivory wool jacket adorned with a decorative arrow motif, each stitch echoing the vibrant colors of the Hudson Bay tradition. Black leather buttons anchor the look with a touch of rugged refinement. Around his neck, a hand-dyed batik scarf from Africa tells of faraway markets and sunlit journeys, its organic patterns playing beautifully against the clean lines of his coat. A black felt cowboy hat sits with effortless authority atop his broad head, while an oversized pipe rests between his teeth, sending lazy ribbons of smoke into the cool air. Color Representation
The pictures are professionally taken as to provide you with the most accurate representation of the piece, there are many variables that may alter the in-person experience, such as monitor calibration, lighting, etc. Please request more pictures or send a message if you find you are unsure of the color representation.
Shipping
Each Dapper Deer will be carefully packed and shipped by a carrier that is the sole person handling the package. This guarantees no tossing about or mishandling of the mounts from big box carriers.

- Shipping Restrictions: Certain items may not be eligible for international shipping and shipping outside contiguous United States.

- Delivery Timeframes: In most cases delivery will be 4-7 weeks from purchase depending on size and packaging.
- Delivery Process: Customer must be present to accept delivery and to meet requirements for access to the delivery location (e.g. staircases, elevators, gated areas etc.) Additional costs may be incurred for unusual delivery needs.
- Local Pickup: If you live in Dallas and would like to arrange a local pickup, specify at checkout.
- Tracking and Updates: Tracking information will be provided.
- Damaged Items: All items are vintage and may show signs of wear consistent with age. Shipped items will be insured incase they're damaged in route.
- Additional Fees: Additional fees for delivery to remote areas or special delivery services will be shared before final purchase.
Return Policy
Returns are considered on a case by case baisis. Returned items will be shipped back at the cost of the buyer. A relisting fee of 15% will be incurred.
Product Disclaimer
Each item is one of a kind and the taxidermy may show some signs of age. While we repair what is necessary on each mount, we consider some of their markings, cracks and thinness of fur as this part of the character of the mounts. Many of these have been “rescued” from ending up in the trash.
